By far the best hairdressers in the area. I live in Didcot & after being recommended by a friend last year I would now never go anywhere else. They use Aveda products which are much better for your hair which was one of the main reason I starting coming to Chakra. I’ve had my hair done by Jo & Ewelina the owners & both are incredible hairdressers. All the staff are lovely & very professional. Beautiful interior & the best coffee!! I've been going to Chakra for years, my hair is always done beautifully and better than I ask. Aveda products they use are luxurious and rich. Everyone is really knowledgeable and helpful, answering any questions and offering loads of great advice. Chakra is even more special because they promote a relaxing, calming environment to unwind with additional head massages available with your hair treatments. There is also a beautician onsite who does eyebrows.

I am not from Newbury but was staying there for a wedding. I booked an appointment with Chakra because they are an Aveda Salon - the same as my regular salon in Exeter. I asked for a wash and style for the wedding. They listened to what I wanted and how I liked it styled and I was utterly thrilled with the result. Thank you so much! Highly recommended.

I have been using Chakra salon for 10 years now for all my hair cut and colour requirements. The team are fantastic - professional, knowledgeable, friendly and their customer service is second to none. Great colour products from Aveda that are expertly applied by the team.
