A massive thanks to Mike who looked after our family in a horrible situation during lockdown, he made the outcome the best it could of been, without Mike's knowledge and experience things could of been much worse. Mike also carried on helping our situation months after as we had no idea how anything worked in what we were working through. Thank you Mike Davis, so so grateful for what you have done. If we ever need a solicitor again I will only use this company, well done xx.

Mike Davies is with absolutely no doubt a experienced,professional and great guy. Been taking me through my matter and received best advice and peace of mind from him with no charge. Been round the corner to a different company and just to have a chat about my matter been asked to pay 300 £. I recomend this company and Mike Davies with full confidence to everybody.

Messed up my house sale to the point where I had to refer the matter to the Legal Complaints Service (now the Legal Ombudsman). The complaint was successful and I was rewarded with an amount reduction off the fees. I consider this to be a shallow victory though as I believe that Charles Hoile's repeated errors cost me a lot more than I received off the bill.
The main error was a legal one around the house sale, a detail not spotted which should have been and delayed things beyond where they needed to go. Subsequent errors included sending potentially sensitive emails to the other party's solicitor.
We're all human and everybody makes mistakes, so I was most hurt by the arrogance that I met from senior management at Charles Hoile when raising a complaint, even when I brought in the Legal Complaints Service - never a "sorry", not even any sign of remorse or respect for a customer.
Very poor and very old school.
