A beautiful church where you can truly feel the presence of God. An amazing parish priest Fr Zbigniew, who is very welcoming and friendly. Congregation is like one huge family full of warm and lovely people.

Visiting from Bristol and was made to feel very welcome by the congregation from the moment I set foot through the door. Father Zbigniew Budyn delivered a fantastic mass; bringing some upbeat and joyous moments to the mass as well as some humour in other parts while maintaining the dignity of mass at all times. I can see why he is clearly loved by his congregation. I very much hope to visit St Francis again when in Newbury

I played the organ there for a wedding last week. I experienced a very warm welcome from everyone - and, the wedding went very well.

Only went in the church hall, toilets ok but basic.Really just a large room with small kitchen area off. OK for a small meeting, flat floor no stage.

A very friendly parish. A lot of young families with children. Father Bruce the parish priest is amazing. Excellent proper coffee served after Sunday Mass. UPDATE Fr Bruce has now moved to Guernsey but we have an excellent Polish priest, Fr Zbigniew. The parish has a lot of young families and is as child friendly as ever.

Open for the sustainable hub to sell to the local community every month some wonderful products and of course my chopping boards.
