I like it the shop. But some of staff is awful. Working very slow and spending to much time chatting not scanning.. disappointed

Good range of products. Staff could be more helpful in a pro active way.

Variety of diy stuff available. You get a chance to buy whatever you wish for just in that area . Lot of options for both indoor and outdoor plants. Various household stuff starting from bulbs to bath tub ,bathroom ,wooden tiles, key cutter, furniture and what's not available.

Can always get what i need.great service and friendly staff. Plus my favorite burger in car park always.

I was looking for bubble wrap and was tight for time so asked a member of staff. She replied "if we've got any it will be half way along aisle 16". Very precise, very helpful and was exactly right. I took the 2 remaining roles.

Really need to up their game. When I go these days I always cross my fingers rhat they have what I need. For example today guttering, run out of brackets of the correct colour. I know fir sure that there hasn't been a run on them and if I'd have popped in 3 months ago same. Just slack just one example but now the norm. 10, 20 years ago it was the place.

Had an unusual request. Asked for store manager presented my question, after a short pause/wait manager revise the prefect results. Credit where credits due. Delivering above and beyond thank you john

Sophie in the paint/decor department was absolutely amazing at helping me with paint choices today for 2 rooms. Really friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and can't recommend her highly enough. If monthly team recommendations/awards, she is one in a million :)

Went for raspberry canes which they had plenty. Choice was good and there were many other plants for sale, all in good condition. The self check out was the easiest I've been to !! 😂😂

Can’t say enough how impressed I was with the staff at this store. I had bought a Christmas sausage dog about a month ago for Christmas and during my very chaotic house move lost it ☹️ I went into b&q Newbury to buy another and they had sold out. The gent behind the counter very kindly checked stock out back unfortunately they didn’t have any and worse still were not due to receive anymore. He then very kindly spoke to the manager and agreed to sell me the display model! They then set about dismantling the display and the lady behind the counter sold it to me at a discounted rate (very much appreciated) You guys made for a very happy wife! Thank you very much!
