Blue Tongue offer a collaborative approach with a focus on achieving excellent quality construction and interior detailing, delivered to program and on budget. Blue Tongue have experience of sustainable construction and have worked with us achieve excellent thermal performance and air tightness and incorporate renewable technologies. We selected Blue Tongue Construction to build our new house and couldn't be happier with that decision. Simon and his team (led by Tom) were fantastic to work with. The whole build process was very smooth and, believe it or not, stress free! It was going to be a stretch to achieve what we wanted within our budget, but Simon was full of ideas to help us do that and we are so pleased with the end result. Bluetongue built a two storey extension, reconfigured a roof and remodelled internal spaces of a late 19th century village property. The project ran over 5-6 months, with several add-on stages afterwards. Simon (business owner) was very easy to work with throughout and put forward new ideas to enhance the original thinking. The quality of work was excellent. His staff (builders and carpenter) were always courteous and thoughtful. In particular, Nigel's brickwork was first class and Tom was a very strong carpenter-come-foreman. The trades Bluetongue brought in for electrics, plastering and flooring were equally sound. The approach to managing the budget and costs was completely open-book, which worked well for both parties. I'd use Bluetongue again, without hesitation.
